How can I earn VIA Préférence points? 

Members earn 1 point per $1 spent on tickets and travel passes (before taxes), as well as on eligible fees and optional products and services like baggage and business lounge passes. Members who reach a higher tier earn extra points, for a total of 2 points per $1 spent for Privilège level and 3 points per $1 spent for Premier level.

You can also earn up to 50% more points on your ticket depending on the fare you choose. Economy fare gives you 25% more points, and Economy Plus and Business Plus fares give you 50% more points.

To earn VIA Préférence points after joining the program, be sure to log in to your account prior to booking your trip online or, if someone else is booking for you, make sure they provide your VIA Préférence number at time of booking.
