VIA Rail Business lounges

Enjoy the peace and quiet of our Business lounges to relax or get some work done. All of our Business lounges are equipped for your comfort, and offer you the following benefits:

  • Unlimited access to digital reading material with PressReader, which allows clients to access a wide range of magazines and newspapers from around the world.

Access to the Business lounges is available to the following travellers:

Passengers travelling in Business class, Sleeper Plus class, Prestige class, and VIA Préférence Premier members travelling with an Economy Plus fare ticket (exclusions apply).

Access policy

  • Tickets must be verified at the reception desk, located at the entrance of the lounge.
  • Passengers must present their booking confirmation for same-day, confirmed travel.
  • A qualifying passenger may purchase a One-Time Lounge Pass for additional non-qualifying guests with whom they are travelling for a fee of $10$ plus tax.
  • Friends or family not travelling with the qualifying passenger may not accompany him or her into the lounge.
  • Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a qualifying adult passenger.
  • Access is subject to space availability.
  • Due to limited space, access upon arrival to lounges in Kingston, London, Québec City and Dorval stations is not available.

Opening hours: Monday to Friday - 5:45 am to 11 pm Saturday - 6 am to 10:15 pm Sunday - 8 am to 11 pm
